Due to the failure to implement safety measures, many individuals have been adversely affected by HIV/AIDS. This failure to prioritize precautions such as safe sex practices, needle exchange programs, and universal precautions in healthcare settings has led to the transmission of the virus among populations worldwide. Additionally, societal stigmatization and discrimination have hindered efforts to educate and protect vulnerable communities, further exacerbating the spread of HIV/AIDS. It is imperative that we recognize the importance of proactive safety measures and take decisive action to prevent further transmission of this devastating disease.
Through our dedicated efforts in education, awareness, and support, we are committed to making a tangible difference in the fight against HIV/AIDS. Join us as we strive for a brighter, healthier future for all.
Ensuring a safe devoid of violence, harm and abuse stands as a fundamental cornerstone of our mission at the Nigeria AIDS Counselling Organization (NACO). Here’s how we’re making a difference:
NACO conducts comprehensive programs to educate communities about HIV/AIDS prevention.
NACO collaborates with NpopC to facilitate the provision of birth certificates for our beneficiaries. Our goal is ensuring everybody has government issued birth certificate.
